Digital Video Recorder

 

Objective: The client wanted a way to capture and record video from a group of existing analog cameras. The system also needed a way to retrieve and view the recorded video from a remote location.

 

Result: By leveraging the software eco-system provided by Microsoft's Embedded Windows, Original Technology was able to developed a PC based system that could simultaneously capture and record up to 32 individual analog cameras. In addition to developing a patented method of reducing disk space requirements to store compressed video images, Original Technology also developed several custom hardware items for the system and a remote client application that is used to retrieve video.
